V-Day, Ohio, and Fun

Here is my crazy blog update for the past couple months. We just got the cutest Valentine's Day package in the mail from my mom. My family made us some pretty amazing cards.

Juli made this one... isn't it totally incredible?? It's got her thumbprints in the background, stitching, ribbons, everything... pretty cool!

This, however, was Madeline's favorite card. It is from our favorite neighbor and friend Mary. She lives across the hall from us. It came with a charm (below Barbie) for Madeline to hang around her neck. Mary spoils her completely. :)

So, I pretty much let Madeline have free reign of my make-up while I do her hair in the mornings and she is very distracted and happy. Usually she can't open anything and just pretends to put it on. Well, today....

She learned to open it and...

...made herself beautiful. :)

This weekend Josh was able to take a little break so we drove on over to Ohio. We love to go and visit when we get a chance. Here are Madeline and Jayden taking 'turns' going down the slide.

Madeline LOVED all the babies, strollers, high chairs, and cooking and cleaning toys. She loves to play 'mom' more than anything.

Here is Julia giving Madeline a lift in the back of her truck.

Just a cute picture of Jayden.

And a scary picture of Tyler. :)

Here are some more Valentine's day pictures. Josh got me the beautiful flowers on the left and Mary brought me and Madeline the flowers on the right. Aren't they beautiful??

Madeline's favorite V-Day activity was watching 'Signing Time.' Here she shows you the sign for ball.

The sign for eat...

Here the picture become a little random:

Then she eats some cookie dough. I don't know why I always include these pictures, but I love them.

Here is Madeline making Samuel a bottle.

Here she is entertaining him.

Baths are always more fun when Dad is around!!!

This is Madeline's happy place. :)

First braids!

It's hard to appreciate exactly how much work Madeline has put into unloading the fridge. She works tirelessly to organize the bottles just right and place them in the right spot in the kitchen- a lot of those bottles are pretty heavy too.

Here I wanted to show a few of my recent masterpieces...

Fruit pizza...woot!
Lemon meringue pie...mmmm!

Can you tell Josh is super excited?
...and Madeline would prefer a block of cheese.

Cami's favorite is my mascara - but she can open it. She hasn't ever done too much damage with it, yet.

She is so dang cute!!! I love the makeup. She is really a girly girl. Playing dolls and makeup, etc. I LOVE the blog update. Thanks so much for taking the time so grandma can just sit and stare and watch the movie over and over. We love ya all!!

I think Josh looks about as excited as when you did the clues in Jello to tell him you were pregnant! Fun pictures, and beautiful fruit pizza.

Oh my goodness! So cute - I love the update - I feel like such a slacker because I didn't even see that you had put the other pictures on at the beginning of the month. Anyways, I love that Madeline made herself "beautiful" -that is so precious. You just have to love her unloading the fridge - she's lucky you let her do that, Alayna is not so lucky! The first braids are so cute too! We love you guys and miss you! Your fruit pizza and lemon meringue pie look amazing!!
