We were invited to a really neat event with Josh's professor and his wife. It was called the "Festival of Trees". It was a dinner, auction, choral performance, and dancing. Josh got to help hold up auction items and such. We had a good time. Well, we had mentioned to Josh's professor that we thought one of the Christmas trees was particularly cool. It was Purdue themed and absolutely beautiful. He bid on it during the auction and won. I whispered to him that it was real cool that he had got it and he whispered back that it was going to be delivered to my house the next day... what???? I didn't know what to say... was he serious?? YUP!!! I said a very sincere thank you, but how are you supposed to thank somebody for a gift that generous?? Really?? Suggestions? :) Here are a couple of pictures of the tree... we need to find a pretty tree skirt, but here it is for now. I titled the post more to come, because I have pictures of us before we left for the event. Mom and Kali flew all the way out to babysit for us... FUN HUH!! Anyways, here are the pictures.
Wow!
Some close ups of the ornaments, but not all of them...
Fun, huh?

That's an awesome tree, Tifani!
That is so cool! What a neat tree! I saw your dress on Kali's blog - it is gorgeous! You guys looked great and it sounds like you had a lot of fun!!
What a cool Christmas gift! The tree is beautiful! Now, how to keep the kids from pulling off all the ornaments, right:)?
wow that was so so so sweet. Amazing!
Wow! What an awesome professor to do that for you. That is hard to reciprocate. Just write a nice thank you and bake some goodies, something from the heart is better than from the store.
Enjoy your beautiful tree!
AMAZING my friend!:) You deserve it!:)
