August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling very grateful for my family.  I had a sweet friend in Indiana who lost her husband yesterday and my heart has been aching for her all day.  I'm grateful for a knowledge that families can be together forever.  I'm grateful for a Savior that died for us so that we can return to live with Heavenly Father again and be together with our families.  It's made me want to appreciate everybody more than I have and continue to make memories for my family.  School starts on Tuesday.  We'll see how that goes.  I'm not sure if I'm ready for Madeline to be gone all day, but she is excited, so it will probably be great.  :)  Here are some pictures of our August!

We went raspberry picking with some friends.  It was incredible.  Most delicious, HUGE, wonderful raspberries ever!  We now have lots of jam!!  :)

Here was our zoo visit!

YAY for friends!!

Awww... Madeline!

We went to Utah and then Idaho for a week each.  Elijah LOVED seeing grandpa!  Then our camera battery died, so I didn't take any more pictures... oops... but it was fun!!

Here is Moira at her birthday breakfast!!!  Crazy that she is already FOUR!!!!!!!

The famous "CHEESE" face!!

Moira wanted to decorate her own cake.  She allowed Madeline to help her!

Then we had a 'sugar rush' family party!  Josh made graham cracker go-carts...

and I set out all the candy to decorate them!

Awesome, eh??!!??

Moira looked at this picture today and said this was the most beautiful cake she had ever seen!  :)  HA!  We played a Wreck It Ralph and Fix It Felix game with cardboard boxes, but everybody was left in tears so we stopped that one pretty quick!!

Just cute, huh?

Then we had a balloon kid war!

It was awesome!

Elijah loved it!!!

Here is our "Dustin's Family Fun List" to do this summer.  We only have two left!!  "Ride a Ferry" and "Pick Blackberries"!!!  Come visit us grandpa so we can go pick!!  :)

Here are my birthday flowers!

Josh and I went to the temple for my birthday.  It was WONDERFUL!!!  I couldn't have asked for a more uplifting day.  I tried to make these giant cookies, but they were AWFUL!!!!

Madeline took my 2-9 year birthday photo!!  YIKES!!!

Brock's birthday is the day after mine!!  We went up to the cabin with these guys and went out to dinner!  He got this dessert for free!!!

Then we had a birthday party the next day for him and Moira!!  Yes, this was a slip and slide with a rope tied to a four wheeler ('quad' if you are from Washington) pulling the children down!!  Crazy dads?? Yes!!

Moira is FOUR!!!

Brock's g-ma and g-pa let us play on their awesome water slide!!  Moira and Madeline's best day EVER!!

Elijah's too!!  He is in LOVE with anything that grrrs!!

Moira and friends!!

YAY for four year olds!!

For Josh's birthday we went to a rootbeer store up in North Seattle.  We have had a blast taste testing!  Josh was up there yesterday and got a whole slew more to try!!  :)

On his birthday we went camping at Mt. Ranier with friends!  It was BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING!!

Cute man picture!!!!  The campground was called Ohanapecosh, can you say that??

Cute best friends!!
