Woot! So we're finally in Seattle all settled down and loving life!! The weather has been absolutely beautiful, who said that it rains all the time in Seattle?? :) Just kidding. Everybody has said that we've been super, super lucky. Before we came out we bought a GPS, so it's been WAY nice to not have the learning curve of how to get around. We've ridden a ferry, gone to some beautiful beaches, and just enjoyed being together as a family more. I LOVE INTERNSHIPS!! I've been to my doctor here already and she is super nice!

Madeline and I flew from Chicago to SLC on our trek out to Washington. We had a couple of days with my family before Josh made it out (he drove ALL THE WAY from Indiana). :)

Here is Madeline enjoying our layover in Denver. Southwest has these awesome rocking chairs and she loved it.

This nice man offered to take my picture with her, but Madeline preferred to be in the chair by herself (as manifested by her expression).

Madeline was super excited to see my mom when she met us in the airport. She had a great time with all the family we saw and warmed up to everybody really quick. Here she and Aunt Kali are reading some bed time stories.

Madeline and Alayna love their grandma so much. She is showing them fish.

We were so relieved and happy when Josh finally made it to Utah!! We went to the zoo to celebrate.

Aren't Alayna and Madeline SO SO SO cute?? Awwww!

Kali took Madeline on her very first carousel ride, she, uh, didn't like it so much!!
We were able to spend a few days in Idaho Falls with Josh's family. His younger sister went through the temple and we were able to be there for that. We got to see lots and lots of family and it was so so so much fun!! However, I forgot to take out my camera while we were there...
After spending a few days with his family, we got back in the car and started our last leg to Washington. We drove 8 hours the first day to Spokane and then made it to our apartment in Seattle. It wasn't quite finished when we got here and we were a little nervous, but it has turned out to be awesome and we absolutely LOVE it!! Here are some pictures of the apartment:

The view from mine and Josh's room...sweet, huh??

Madeline has adjusted beautifully and likes it a lot. She does miss her Indiana friends though.

One of the first places we found here is called Kubota Gardens. It is absolutely beautiful!! We have taken all of the family that has come to visit there and we go there as often as we can. It's this beautiful Japanese gardens with all kinds of crazy little paths and ponds and bridges. Josh has determined that the stroller won't stop him from going anywhere... and it hasn't. It is so hilarious to see him maneuver his way around. He is an extreme strollerer. :)

Josh and Madeline

Juli came to visit us a week ago and we took her to the garden.

Aww... a little family picture!

When Juli came we met up with my Aunt Julie and Uncle Paul and his family. My Aunt Marie and cousin Cassie were also visiting the area. CRAZY, because we haven't seen them for about 4 1/2 years. It was so fun. We took a ferry to Bainbridge Island and walked around and chatted all day.

Here are Madeline and Josh on the ferry. We were so excited to ride the ferry, that's something I've been wanting to do since we got here.

This is my Uncle Paul, Aunt Rocky, and their cute kiddos.

Here's the whole crowd of us on the ferry.

Yay!

Here are some random pictures of Madeline before we left Indiana. She is such a ham and the pictures were too funny not to post.

Hey tiffani,
I found you off of your sisters blog. I didn't know you guys are up in seattle? My husband and i also live up here. we are in bothell (just 20 mins away) It doesn't really rain that much in the summer but it constantly rains in the winter. so i'm glad that you like the weather, it kindof makes me miss utah. We've been up here for 4 years. how long will you be in seattle for?
Hey - I didn't know you were going to live in my home town! I grew up in Bothell - apparently where your friend Andrea lives. Small world. Where exactly are you living and how long will you be there? Congrats on the new little one on the way. Two kids is busy but so much fun!
We miss you in Indiana, but we also love the Seattle area! Enjoy it - I can't wait until you come back and I get to see that new little girl of yours!
You guys are seriously so cute! i hope all goes well for you guys. your apartment is really cute (and I am so very jealous of the view).
I'm glad to hear that you are all settled in Seattle. You look great and your apartment looks awesome! Much better view than in Indiana, eh? ;-)
I've emailed Linh, and she has emailed me back, twice. The missionaries have been asking about her. She told me that she went back to Korea (?). But hopefully when I get back to Indiana, and she gets back to Indiana, then we can hang out and get to know each other better.
I hope you continue to enjoy WA!
