Here are some of our early July adventures. We heard that the first Thursday of every month is a free museum day. We decided to take advantage and head over to the Boeing Museum of Flight. It was awesome. We were given a tour by this really cool guy and it was just us and one other lady (on the tour that is). Here are just a couple of pictures...

Outside of the museum you can also see lots of airplanes coming and going. A couple of days ago we saw a 747... I'll have to double check with Josh on that one, it might have been a 737 (all the same to me), but anyways, it was HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was one of my favorites. One of the earliest airplanes. The person inside had to pedal (like a bike) to keep the airplane up... wooh!! CORRECTION... Josh was reading through the blog and let me know that I was wrong. This airplane is only about 10 years old, it is the first man powered airplane. It took them a long time to get the engineering right so that they could do something like this... :)

Another cool airplane!!!

Here is my personal favorite... the blackbird... it's this crazy supersonic jet that they had to stop using because it was not cost effective at all.

Madeline was very done after our tour. :)

Here is one of my very favorite pictures of my cute girl. She loves her sunglasses lately and thinks it is especially stylish to wear them upside down. :) She even posed in this picture for me. :)

For the fourth of July weekend we drove to Deception Pass. It's this really neat state park with long rocky beaches. Madeline absolutely loved it. Here's my cute husband, by the famous bridge.

As you can see from Madeline's face this water is REALLY cold. She is used to going to Lake Washingon to swim, but the ocean is a whole different story.

She still loved it though!

Isn't she beautiful??

Here she is on our drive home. She is so funny about having things touch her face while she is sleeping. :)

Last of all, Josh found another cool park in northern Seattle it is called Gasworks park (because it has all of this old factory equipment where they used to make gas). It is really beautiful, because you can see the city and TONS of sailboats.

Yay! Seattle is so pretty!!
