Late June Catch Up!

Mom and Kali came to visit us to go to another Marriner's game a couple of weeks (well, more like a month ago). Kali found out that my cousin Randy Krause and her family were going to be in town, so we all met up and partied at our apartment. Madeline LOVED their family!

Cute picture, huh?

Kelsey and Emily playing with Madeline's blocks. :)

Josh and I have been enjoying cable television here in Washington (included in the rent...) and he has become quite the master chef. Plating is as important to him as the taste and originality of the dish. Here are a couple of his meals:

Mmmmm!!! This tasted incredible!

Sad to say, he was in charge of cooking his own Father's Day meat. We bought some yummy salmon and I didn't want to ruin it.

It was delicious! YAY for Food Network! :)

My Aunt Julie lives in downtown Seattle and we've had fun getting together with her a couple of different times. She invited us to go with her and some of my cousins to the Pacific Science Center. Madeline's favorite part was the AWESOME butterfly room.

Josh took some really cool pictures.

The butterflies loved Josh and kept landing on him.

Aren't they beautiful? Madeline was in HEAVEN!!

After we went to the Pacific Science Center we went to see the famous Ballard Locks (it's like a boat elevator lifting boats from the Puget Sound to Lake Union). We forgot to take pictures of that, but here are some pictures of Madeline in the park right next to it. We were listening to a jazz band.

Feelin the groove...
