Madeline is so lucky she has such a wonderful dad! Isn't he cute?
Before we left for our family reunion in Idaho Mary gave Madeline her birthday presents. This beautiful Dora nightgown with a headband (awesome!!) and a princess wedding coloring book (which she is coloring in with dad in the picture above). She's really lucky!!

We have a big rock outside our apartment complex. Josh taught Madeline how to climb it, well, when Moira and I went out to watch Josh was trying to help her (while he was holding Moira) and she face planted into a BIG rock. Here is a picture of her fat lip. :(
Moira's hair is getting long enough to try a few new do's. Here is the side pony tail.

We had to get a picture of this. Moira ALWAYS eats with her foot out of the chair. She just relaxes and eats. We love it!
So, for Father's Day I wanted to make the ultimate dessert. I looked up a homemade German chocolate cake recipe and found an amazing one on Rachel Ray's website. Well... it took a lot of time and a TON of ingredients and it was HUGE and I suppose it looks pretty nice, but...
didn't taste different than a cake mix. Definitely not worth the effort on this one. We had our neighbors Tom and Mary over to enjoy the cake. It was a lot of fun. :)
Don't you love the colors in this picture?? We made kabobs for Father's Day dinner. Josh is always kind of in charge, because whatever he cooks usually turns out really good. :) He does all the grillin' in this family!
This picture is especially for my little sisters Juli and Kali. They would absolutely DIE if they saw Madeline touching raw hamburger. But hey, she needs to learn young right?? She loves to help me!
Moira is just so cute. She can now scale the side of this car to get inside, she doesn't bother opening the door. She crawls and climbs on top of everything. We call her our little monster/terror/animal/destructor, because she is so fast. We love her, but whew!!!!!!!
Sad, sad, sad... I wonder where she learns this...

Oh my goodness those are the cutest pictures ever!! I absolutely love the update. Thank!! I love the side ponytail and the pigs. What a great dad Josh is and a wonderful mother you are! Those kids are so lucky. I am real homesick for my babies. I love the leg out of the chair! That is so random! Love ya al!!
first of all- i cant believe you let my niece touch raw hamburger. that is just nasty!!!!! i love moira's little hairdo's :) and her skirt in the last picture is WAY cute!!! Cant wait to see you guys! love ya!!

Yay!!! What a cute update!! Your cake looks amazing - sorry it wasn't worth the effort...I have some cake recipes that are totally worth the effort when you are interested. We love your cute girls and you guys so much!! Moira is so cute with her hairdo's and the skirt too! We are so glad we got to see you and we miss you already!
