So... here I begin the serious catch up! (Thank you to my sister Stephani for being a good example and my dear friend Mary for giving me a gentle nudge!!) :)
Before we left Indiana we had to go and visit the Mattingleys one more time! We love them and miss them so much!!! A couple weeks ago we had a family reunion and these were a couple of Moira's favorite girls! Corinney and Julia, Julia, JULIA!!!
Cute Madeline!
Madeline and Jayden are the cutest little kiddos ever!
Here was Madeline and Moira's letter to Santa. Madeline's words are green and Moira's are red! We loved it!
Josh has this weird thing about making reindeer poop every Christmas... sigh! This past year I think he used play-doh instead of chocolate! Gotta love it!
The pea coats that came in handy when we moved here to Washington!
Weird Wii babies from dad!
We spent New Years in Chicago with Brent and Danielle... (we miss them too... sigh...)! They pretty much have the coolest apartment ever... it used to be a chapel!
Awww!
Everybody just loved the treats!
Here is a picture of Moira in our new apartment in Indiana. We were fortunate enough to sell the remainder of our lease before we moved to Washington and then were able to find a one month, mostly furnished apartment to live in our last couple weeks. We were so very, very, very blessed!
New apartment joys!
Here was our post-Christmas gingerbread house!
Mmmmm!
Mmmm... again??
Mary came over to visit us and have dinner even though it was crazy and snowy and awful outside! We love, love, love, love, LOVE her!
Before we left we went swimming with our dear friends the Mumfords! We (especially ME!) miss them dearly!!
Awww... best friends!
So, I felt like it was my wifely duty to go overboard making refreshments for Josh's defense. I had so many great friends let me borrow dishes and pots and pans (because ours were all packed off and shipped to Washington!). Here was have some fruit kabobs, mini cinnamon rolls and icing...
Mini- quiches, mini muffins (any kind you can think of) and of course Purdue plates, napkins, and cups!
Don't ask how many people ate... (like NONE!), but it was ok!
Before the defense...
Josh's dad and older brother totally surprised him and flew out to watch his defense! He was thrilled and shocked!
After the defense... which he rocked... Madeline had all the Doctor D.'s at her disposal making playdoh cookies, treats, etc. :) One of the best days of her life!
Shaun, Josh, and Dad
Here we are... awww... little Elijah is still cookin!
Here was Madeline's last day of preschool! She had the best class and the nicest teachers!
Everybody got to come and give her a hug!
Awww! Miss Julie and Miss Karen!
You can't really tell, but this is our NEW apartment in Renton, WA! The temporary one while we were house-hunting!
Grandma gave the girls a pretty sweet Christmas present- we waited until we were in Washington to open it up!
Poor kids and all the moves!!!! :) :) :)
