DOCTOR Dustin!!!!!

So, current update is... the appraisal went perfectly on the house and we are set to close on March 15th!!  Woohoo (but sad, because we like the ward we've been in the last couple weeks!).  I am 38 weeks and doing pretty good.  My blood pressure is crazy high and I'm swelling up like crazy, but my doctor did all the preeclampsia workups last week and we'll see how they turn out.  I would be super surprised if anything is actually wrong- I just get the high bp and swelling, but nothing else!  Which I guess is good that I'm not sicker, but I almost wouldn't mind, because then I'd be induced!  :)  He'll come when he comes though!  :)

Here is the post about Josh's dissertation defense!  He was amazing!  I was able to go, because I have wonderful friends and people to help me with my children!
Here's my man!  I couldn't take too many pictures, because that would be embarrassing for him!  We got there super early to set up- he did the computer stuff... I did the food stuff...

Again, I had wonderful friends that let me borrow knives, a kitchenaid, cutting boards, baking pans, serving dishes, etc... being in that temporary apartment in Indiana was not bad at all because I have such wonderful friends (even letting us borrow blankets, toys, etc!!).

I had fun going overboard... we had mini quiches, a trillion mini muffins, fruit kabobs, and mini cinnamon rolls with frosting (plus juice and milk).  The great thing about it all was nobody ate anything... seriously!  At the end maybe 2 people ate a fruit kabob...  BUT... it was ok, because I felt like it was a way I could show Josh my support!!

Isn't he cute!?!  He was a little nervous!  AND THEN...

His professor walked in escorting Josh's dad and big brother Shaun!!!!  He was beyond shocked (I knew all along!!), but then he had to immediately start his defense, so he was left reeling a little bit.  He did amazing!  It was not very fun for me to watch... mostly super, super, super stressful, because I know how hard he has worked for so many years!  BUT all the professors were impressed and of course passed him!  So now... he is my Dr. Dustin!!!

Funny thing about it all, when I picked up Madeline and Moira I told them that they had to now call their dad 'Dr. Dustin' and Madeline started crying and said she really just wanted him to be her dad!  So... for those of you still trying for those PhDs out there... just know that your kids don't really care!  :)  They just love you!  Madeline was so excited to have grandpa and Uncle Shaun around.

Here they are helping her make play-doh cookies.  She had three Dr. Dustins at her disposal.  They were doing whatever she asked... she was literally in paradise.  Probably one of the best days of her life!

Cute, cute, cute!!!

Dad and Shaun were only here for the morning and the afternoon, but we were SO SO SO grateful for their support!!!!  Josh was so happy!

Awwww!

Awww... here we are and my pregnant tummy!
